Description
The most efficient hydraulic system in a spa setting will transfer the maximum water performances from the spa pump to the spa jets. We have managed to maximize the jet performances by reducing friction losses due to pipe sizing. We have created, designed and produced exclusively 3" pump connections, 3.5" manifold and 2" x 2" dual barrel variable flow water valve that manages the ultimate water distribution system in a spa setting.
Our variable flow valve will put you in control of the water flow while sitting in any of our massaging chairs. At the tip of your fingers you would be able to increase or decrease the water flowing through the jets managing the pressure that massages your body. Most spas manufactures purchase their valves and manifolds from a valve and manifolds manufacturer, at Regal Spa we design, patent, and produce our own.
Concept 5-A:
An industry standard water valve known as a diverter valve is normally used to divert water from one set of jets to another set of jets. However, when the diverter valve is in-between positions, it allows water to flow through all jets in the spa but at low pressure. In a spa application using this plumbing concept allows marketing people to advertise a larger quantity of jets without the additional cost of a pump.
Concept 5-B:
Many spa manufacturers stopped using diverter valves as a reverse marketing psychology against concept 5-A. They added additional pumps and they provided all the water jets with the maximum system pressure. However the spa bather would not have the option to regulate the water flowing through these jets and feel the jets at different pressures.
The Regal Concept:
At Regal Spas with our patent pending variable flow water valve we have added the proper pumps for the number of jets provided to maximize the system pressure at 15-16 psi. In addition, at the tip of your fingers, you will be able to increase or decrease the water flowing through the jets managing the pressure that massages your body.
